Living with the format

Does Capella have discussion posts?GuidedPath does, weekly. FlexPath has none — a real reason to pick one and to avoid it. How much writing is there?A great deal, in APA, in both formats. Worth weighing before rather than in week three. Can you switch from FlexPath to GuidedPath?Yes, and most traffic runs that way. What the remapping actually costs. What happens if you drop out?Your credit does not evaporate — and switching format is often the smaller decision.

Clinical and comparisons

How many practicum hours does an FNP need?Several hundred, across terms — and at Capella you secure the preceptor yourself. Capella or a local state university?If recognition is your first criterion, take the state school. We will say so.
